Exhibition 27-29th
The Big Art Fair 2024 is set to take place from September 27 to 29 at the Slotervaart area in Amsterdam, promising to showcase over 75 XL artworks. This event is known for its focus on large-scale installations and innovative contemporary art, bringing together artists, galleries, and collectors from various parts of the world.
This year, Eva will be one of the contributors, adding her unique perspective to the diverse range of artworks displayed. Eva is particularly known for her bold and experimental approach to art, which aligns well with the fair's emphasis on oversized and impactful pieces.
The event is expected to draw significant attention within the art community, not just for the scale of the works, but also for the vibrant atmosphere that BIG ART consistently delivers. If you're interested in contemporary art and large installations, this fair is definitely a must-visit.
Exhibition 8-10th
The exhibition "St. Lucas she/her" by the St. Lucas Art Association will take place from November 8 to 10, 2024, at Loods 6 in Amsterdam. This event honors the association's groundbreaking history as the first art organization in the Netherlands to accept female members. The exhibition's theme, "Identity," explores the contributions and legacies of these pioneering women, with new artworks created by current members inspired by the women who preceded them.
The exhibition also includes workshops, lectures, and performances that highlight the historical and contemporary roles of women in art. These activities aim to engage a broad audience and celebrate the rich diversity and influence of female artists within St. Lucas.
By focusing on identity and feminist themes, this exhibition not only reflects on the past but also offers a platform for contemporary discussions about the role of women in the art world and society at large.
