Description
Roos was born hearing impaired. For a long time, the cause was unknown. She viewed the world with a frown on her face. She observed the world intensely, and she taught herself to read lips. Two surgeries and improved hearing later, she no longer needed her hearing aids. The frown disappeared. A work of art that commemorates this time. A time of extreme strength, perseverance, and adaptability. Seeing possibilities and having faith in the future.
